This course will enable you to help clients research, access, understand, and apply meaningful LMI in their career development efforts.
For clients to be able to obtain accurate Labour Market Information (LMI), they need to be able to do the required research. This course prepares you to better access, understand, and apply LMI in your work with clients. It will introduce you to strategies to help clients find, make sense, of and use LMI in meaningful ways. You will explore various useful tools and resources available across Canada. You will also learn how to integrate both formal and informal LMI. CAR-103 Program Format
This is an intensive 1-week distance learning course.
Throughout this 1-week fully facilitated course, you’ll actively cultivate your ability to source and understand Labour Market Information (LMI). You’ll take part in a range of activities for a dynamic, interactive learning experience: videos, reading, quizzes, online discussions, reflection exercises, and small projects. The course is structured so that you receive interesting and topical information, tips, and strategies. This format will provide current theory, strategic guidance, and practical experience through examples and application.

Students must achieve an overall grade of at least 80% to successfully complete the course.
